as you can see from my beautiful emojis, It is Christmas time! Today I went caroling around the school for choir. We sang so many songs I almost lost my voice! My throat is still a little dry from singing. Anyway its Christmas soon!!! I am so excited! There will be so so SO many presents. I hope that I get some new books. You know it is not much of a surprise what I'm going to get for Christmas after all most things I get were from the wish list that I wrote. So you know. But on the bright side presents that I expect are still presents! My family has so many plans for Christmas and New Years! There will be time to see family, and tons of time for fun! So Happy Christmas and a very Merry New Year! Did I get that wrong?????

My Brand New Ball

 Yesterday we went shopping at 5 below. While I was browsing one of the aisles, and it's vast collection of items, my eyes fell upon a small rectangular cardboard box. I then stood on the tops of my toes and saw it. It was a basket of balls. Mostly yellow ones. There was also one black and pink one. But I scarcely saw them. I only had eyes for one ball. This ball was perfect! It was half blue, but the blueish greenish sort of way. The other half was a bright springy yellow. The ball smelled amazing! It smelled of a spring breeze blowing past the top of a mountain. But that was far from the best part! The ball was soft as silk and seemed to nestle in my palms. Then I dropped it.   All about Megan G. Kerr By: Liv Liv: What's your favorite color? Megan: Purple. Liv: Why did you start teaching gifted? Megan: I enjoyed doing the activities when I was in the gifted program myself elementary school. I also liked coming up with enrichment ideas for my students when I taught second grade.  And I had a lot of fun substituting teaching in gifted classrooms.  So when Mrs. Leftwich asked me if I wanted to teach gifted kids with her, I was excited at the possibility.  It seemed like my dream job.  I had to take college courses anyway to renew my teaching license.  So I decided to interview for the gifted job and commit to taking college classes in gifted education to get certified.  And the rest is history.
