Snow Day!

 Guess what today I am gonna do a really really REALLY long blog. You’ll like it. Okay so here we go!

One night we were playing a game when mom mysteriously received a call! It was from SMSD saying that it. Was. A. Snow. Day. Hannah and I were jumping for joy. 

The next morning a similar thrill came as we found out just how much it snowed. The snow covered all the grass. It was beautiful and white. If you looked closely you could see it shimmer in the morning sun.

Hannah of course wanted to go outside right away but we ended up not going till late morning.



How could I forget the best breakfast ever? This morning mom made us fluffy pancakes! Some were even chocolate chip!!! So thanks mom!

Afterwards we had a few quiet hours where we chilled. Luckily at one point mom gave us hot chocolate! We read while sipping it. 


Not too long after that the quiet hours ended. We went sledding at Meadow Brook hill. Hannah’s friends were there. It was super fun!





This whole day was amazing and guess what!? Tomorrow is a snow day too!

My Brand New Ball

 Yesterday we went shopping at 5 below. While I was browsing one of the aisles, and it's vast collection of items, my eyes fell upon a small rectangular cardboard box. I then stood on the tops of my toes and saw it. It was a basket of balls. Mostly yellow ones. There was also one black and pink one. But I scarcely saw them. I only had eyes for one ball. This ball was perfect! It was half blue, but the blueish greenish sort of way. The other half was a bright springy yellow. The ball smelled amazing!   All about Megan G. Kerr By: Liv Liv: What's your favorite color? Megan: Purple. Liv: Why did you start teaching gifted? Megan: I enjoyed doing the activities when I was in the gifted program myself elementary school. I also liked coming up with enrichment ideas for my students when I taught second grade.  And I had a lot of fun substituting teaching in gifted classrooms.  So when Mrs. Leftwich asked me if I wanted to teach gifted kids with her, I was excited at the possibility.  It seemed like my dream job.  I had to take college courses anyway to renew my teaching license.  So I decided to interview for the gifted job and commit to taking college classes in gifted education to get certified.  And the rest is history.
