Cousin visit

 After Camp Wood mom and dad went to Mexico and we went to are grandparents first we went to grandma and grandpa’s then granny and papa Tom’s house. We had so much fun! Here are some pictures of Ainslyn, Hannah, Gwendolyn, and I at granny’s.

    Classic cousin slide pic. Seems like just yesterday we helped put that swingset together. We're so happy to have 2 sets of grandparents that have fun houses to camp out at for a week!

    Liv need a post for Sept and Oct now. You go so many places like Colorado to visit your cousins there though they are sooo much younger than you. More posting, please.

My Brand New Ball

 Yesterday we went shopping at 5 below. While I was browsing one of the aisles, and it's vast collection of items, my eyes fell upon a small rectangular cardboard box. I then stood on the tops of my toes and saw it. It was a basket of balls. Mostly yellow ones. There was also one black and pink one. But I scarcely saw them. I only had eyes for one ball. This ball was perfect! It was half blue, but the blueish greenish sort of way. The other half was a bright springy yellow. The ball smelled amazing! It smelled of a spring breeze blowing past the top of a mountain. But that was far from the best part! The ball was soft as silk and seemed to nestle in my palms. Then I dropped it. It fell down on the ground making an oddly satisfying sound. Then it bounced up right into my hands! At that moment I knew that I was going to get that ball. Interview with Megan Kerr

  All about Megan G. Kerr By: Liv Liv: What's your favorite color? Megan: Purple. Liv: Why did you start teaching gifted? Megan: I enjoyed doing the activities when I was in the gifted program myself elementary school. I also liked coming up with enrichment ideas for my students when I taught second grade.  And I had a lot of fun substituting teaching in gifted classrooms.  So when Mrs. Leftwich asked me if I wanted to teach gifted kids with her, I was excited at the possibility.  It seemed like my dream job.  I had to take college courses anyway to renew my teaching license.  So I decided to interview for the gifted job and commit to taking college classes in gifted education to get certified.  And the rest is history.
